I tell teachers to always have a plan B, life is unpredictable.

You joke, but some teachers and students could use an emergency plan. I was thinking kids CAN use the excuse that google docs was down for a reason why they couldn't print out a paper - same as me saying the dog ate my homework.

A teacher called me today and said her entire lesson plan revolved around the kids accessing their google docs.

Having spoken with a couple of panicked teachers this morning... should we begin to do "No-Technology Drills" so teachers have an Emergency Plan?

I was just talking to someone from Williston about their day OFF yesterday  due to some accident that impacted  access to the school

It was interesting to hear them say,  We had to cancel school because we had to water.. food..  electricity  or internet...

sure sign of the times  when 'no internet'  gets put in the same sentence  as the other reasons school should be cancelled.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with Google Apps today or is it just our district?
