Rick -

I believe what is required for full copy/paste functionality in Chrome is the Google Drive App, which can be installed from the Chrome store. I know that adds right-click-to-copy/paste functionality, which is probably what you need for pasting from IE (it wouldn't be text, but possibly HTML formatted?)

Hi Rick

I"m not sure I understand what you are trying to paste?  Is it an Image?   Text?

When trying to paste from ie8 into Chrome GAE Presentation slide, Chrome wants a Google Drive Web App. But the install gets an error "could not install package could_not_get_temp_directory"
Any ideas what to try next? - Thanks RickM
