Hello Vermont Birders: If anyone is interested in point blank views of Cliff Swallows, Hinesburg is a sure bet right now. From Route 116, at the light at Lantman's grocery store, turn onto the Charlotte Road. The first left is Green Street. Immediately after turning onto Green Street, watch the muddy puddles on the right. They are coming here (five or six at a time) every few minutes right now. Last year they nested on the side of the fire house. I'm guessing that is where they are taking the mud. My guess is it will take a few more days. Here is a photo of their dirty faces: http://www.flickr.com/photos/emhimages/8792707497/ Good birding, Eric Hynes Hinesburg
