So long as the access road is a /little/ better than KH's in /their/ first year, I'll race ya to that first chair.

This is big, big news in the Canadian ski industry. Jumbo will eventually
dwarf Whistler in terms of terrain, and unlike KH and Revi, the owners are
massively deep-pocketed (Oberti'scompnay is hugely wealthy - one of the
richest development companies in the world)

Jumbo valley already has truly world-class snow and terrain. They are
planning to pump literally hundreds of millions of dollars to make it into a
world class resort to go along with that. That's a positive development for
Canadian skiing

I want to be on first chair

Article says:

"Would be the only year-round ski area in North America and one of three
such resorts worldwide."

OK, technically Blackcomb closes for a few weeks, so it isn't "year-round".
But Mount Hood never closes.  And in the Alps, I cannot begin to count the
year-round resorts.

Am I confused?

available in summer on natural snow. This is unprecedented in North America.
The skiable terrain in mid-summer is equivalent to what many regional ski
resorts offer in mid-winter."
