Improving Capacity to Provide Marketing Technical Assistance to New Farmers

Join the Vermont New Farmer Project for a day-long, professional development training for service providers.  Through information sharing, case studies, personal stories and discussion, speakers and panelists will address:

• regional and local market trends and how to identify them;
• market channel assessment
  
• critical elements of marketing plans;
  
• business stage and scale appropriate investments in marketing; and
  
• service providers’ role in helping beginning farmers access emerging market opportunities.

The format will be interactive and culminate with roundtable discussions. 

Registration will begin in August.
