We purchased the EndoX case designed for HP3115 this year, and this was specifically to avoid the rate of damage we had last year with soft cases. It's a hard "crush proof" case and worth the little bit extra. One observation about the soft cases (aside from breakage) is that many laptops "squeezed" into backpacks are already showing keyboard damage on the screens... the hard case should alleviate that. I am pushing kids to keep them in their backpacks as well, as I believe much of the damage we saw last year was outside the backpack when cases were carried "loose" (and swinging around, etc. True: these a little more bulky, but not much bigger than an average science textbook... the protection is worth it. This year's first broken laptop came in this morning, and although the student CLAIMED it was in the case and in his backpack, the backpack didn't have room for it and the crack pattern (vertical lines on the edge, no case damage) indicates it was likely stepped on. *Eric Hall* *Technology Integration Specialist* *Mount Mansfield Union High School* *Chittenden East SU* On Mon, Sep 9, 2013 at 12:12 PM, Lisa Barry <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Anyone have a suggestion for a laptop bag that they really have been happy > with for 1:1 projects.
