Brakes?

Life is worth living.

Not an issue with the braked version.   However, be aware that the brake is not very good.  I doubt the brake would be worth anything on Mount Washington in the spring.

I was wondering if I can piggy back on this old post.  I'm looking to try Dynafits this year.  I'm looking at the One PX boot.  Ski is a Rossignol BC125. I haven't had brakes any time in the recent past so I don't feel like I need them, but I've heard the TLT Speed radical tower tends to rotate into ski mode while skinning?  Is this a valid issue still?  If so , is it a non-issue with the braked version, the Radical ST?  Any other words of wisdom? :)

So after having two pairs of Onyx Bindings malfunction in 1.5 seasons, I've decided that I will seriously consider spending on an exorbitantly priced  pair of Dynafits in the next few weeks.

But their website is ridiculously useless in trying to figure out what's best for me, so I'm asking for the list wisdom.

Considerations:
*I have to be a single ski man for both resort and bc-BD Kilowatt.  Most of my resort skiing consists of early season groomed manmade or powder in Smuggs backbowls, but  i will very occasionally pretend that I'm young and ski moguls.  Figure 2/3 of days are earned turns.
*  Though I'm heavy(170+), I ski at a low DIN setting ~ 6.5.  For whatever reason, I've not experienced prerelease issues at these settings and don't care about high DIN values.
* Boots(for at least one more season) are Garmont Megarides, and I may move to slightly stiffer next year IF I can avoid a weight penalty.

* I hear the Radical may be better at dealing with absorbing the kind of shocks that resort skiing may offer. Opinions?
* Also hear that the Radical had  issues last year with a piece in the heel breaking, and that that should be taken care of this year.  So I guess I should avoid buying those slightly cheaper radicals from last year?
*I've seen different DIN specs published for Radical, some say minimum DIN is 6 some say 5.  What's the truth?
*Brake choice seems to be 92 or 110 mm which is to small or way bigger than my 95mm Kilowatts.  Solution?

*What the lleh is the difference between ST and FT???

Lastly, which is the right binding for me?
