The Southeast Vita-Learn group will hit the road next week.

On Dec 10 from 2:30-4:30 there will be an iPad Professional Development meeting at Guilford Central School.

This will be a beginners session.  The topics will be:
1. native tools - camera, audio, video, connectivity
2. iPad as doc camera & whiteboard

3. Apps like Explain Everything, Screenchomp, Educreations and Notability

How can teachers use these open ended tools for learning.
4. Recorders like iTalk, AudioNote & Quick Voice

The presentor is Michael Nieckoski from Keene State. He presented at the Nov. Southeast Vita-Learn meeting and comes highly recommended.

We'd also like a bit of sharing time at the end for folks to get an idea of how
others are using iPads so bring your ideas!

If you are attending please bring an ipad.  There may be a few to loan out as well so if you need one please indicate it on the RSVP form.

The meetings will have great snacks, $150 doorprize/classroom grant*, certificates to document  your PD.

*a $150 door prize that can be used either toward PD of your choice or a piece of equipment for your classroom!!  The only string attached is that you return to a future meeting and share what you did with the $150.
