Birded Addison county today, here are some of the highlights:

A gathering of 16 Purple finch foraging juniper "berries", a Sharp-shinned Hawk attempting to flush out a number of House Sparrows taking refuge in a bush, 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers, several moderate sized flocks of Horned Larks and Snow Buntings, 2 Northern Mockingbird, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, 6 Eastern Bluebirds [Rutland County], a Savannah Sparrow perched on a fence line, several Rough-legged Hawks, a duo in particular, one dark morph and one light morph contesting a hunting preserve, and finally a Snowy Owl at the Jersey Street Triangle on top of the silo.
