Dear all,
I came across this article by Michael Pollan in the December issue of The New Yorker about intelligence in plants (and other things).
We just had an exchange about possible reaction of plants tin presence of wireless devices on this list. That discussion was more about proper experiment design than the larger literature on plant life. But that literature is very interesting and Pollan does a great job of presenting it focused on plant intelligence. (By the way, I do talk to my plants but much less than I talk to my cats).
Here is the link to the article--it is like all New Yorker essays long.
Happy 2014 to all,
Kamran
