Last night there were a couple (few?) thousand mallards in the circulation
tanks at Burlington's waterfront. It's quite an impressive sight, well
worth taking a break from search out snowys. There's a parking lot just
north of the water treatment facility. You can see the circulators from the
bike path (they're fenced in). The ducks are there each night - make
quite a ruckus, hard to miss. They start arriving en masse around dusk and
by night fall there are just heaps of them! (
