Night, 3:23am, still, black sky ablaze with brilliant full moon in the 
company of regal Jupiter and twinkling Castor and companion Pollux.  A 
solitary Saw-whet owl in a tall spruce whose shadow lays across the 
snowy pasture keeps time for a duet of Great Horned Owls.  Even the dogs 
stand quiet, listening.
