Thanks all for the continued input. The Prophets/Soulmates are a bit on the heavy side. This ski needs to be a quiver of one front&backcountry ski, so I'm trying to keep the weight under 8 pounds for her and closer to 7 ideally. The description of Vicky skiing is helpful too, as Amy is a little more aggressive, having skied any line I've taken her to(though sometimes she does so too carefully) so that the Aura may be an appropriate tree ski for her, but I still have to find out the weight.

This is so different from reviews I've read, in which it's touted as an excellent all around ski.

With Amy being at least 20 pounds heavier, and the newer models having some rocker, I wonder if they'd be ok in the trees.
