I am skiing on the Dynafit One with Dynafit speed radical (no brakes and $100 cheaper than Dynafit radical) bought from Gear X.† Cost was about $1000† including a tune and mounting and VT tax.† They had a fancy jig and it was like 10 dollars--i think you need to be pretty precise on this so I personally wouldn't bother myself.† I am pretty happy with this setup so far.† I ski whatever I can, this year mostly MRG when they are closed :)

Ha!† I see a lot of Dynafit bindings out there for sure. The one downside is that means a boot upgrade too, right? †Any input on the Salomon Guardian?†

Subject: Re: [SKIVT-L] AT Bindings

Do you want Sheffy's response or Leigh's? ;-)

But let me see if I get this correct: Jerm, EO, Dave Guertin, Roger K. & a number of skier's at $teaux two weekends ago all ski Dynafits in-bounds. And I don't think they're yssup-footing around. That said, I think that skiing Dynafits lift-served, in-bounds, especially at fancy areas like $teaux, Slokemo, & Flatton, puts the "eu" in poseur. The best thing about Marker Duke's is that you can mistake them for a non-touring alpine binding from afar.

I was wondering what the list wisdom is on AT bindings?† I have teleíd for years, but my knees arenít handling it very well †anymore, so Iím wondering which AT binding type you would recommend?† I plan to use this as my primary ski, so inbounds and backcountry use.
