Yes, but their trails are wide enough to accomodate 2-way traffic.  In fact, they often meet federal highway standards for sight lines.

This from a ski area that must have one of the lowest ratios of lift capacity to skiable acreage.

By contrast, VT resorts with high-speed detachable lifts like Mount Snow, Stratton, and Bromley are okay with skinning during operational hours:

And Loon too, whose ratio of lift capacity to skiable acreage has to be even higher than those.
