Happy April EWB! First of all I wanted to congratulate all the new officers for next year! It was a great election last week with some really strong candidates and I'm looking forward to our continued success in the future! Keep in mind, that even if you weren't elected as an officer, we will still need project leads, committed members, and someone to fill the role of student ambassador to continue to make our club great. EVERYONE: We will be having a very important general meeting on MONDAY APRIL 7TH AT 5:30 PM. This will be crucial time for remaining banquet planning: Remember our banquet is Friday April 11th at 6 PM! Also, Dean Garcia will be joining us at our meeting to show his support and provide assistance with our Nicaragua Trip Planning! TRIP TEAM: Everyone going on the trip needs to be at this meeting as we have important documents to sign and go over and purchase plane tickets as well as our Spanish Lesson to help Carrie make our Spanish handbook. The trip team should plan on staying later than normal Monday night to accomplish everything. We are having our conference call with EWB-USA on Wednesday April 9th for final approval so after that we should be able to lock in our plane tickets! FUTURE OFFICERS: Towards the end of this semester we will have an official training day and "passing of the binders" but this is the time to start learning from our current officers and getting involved in planning and organizing. Now is the time to step up as I'm sure our current officers would appreciate the help! See you all on Monday and have a great weekend!!!!!!!
