Right, this would be done in consultation with someone experienced in 
swapping out PS boards in this type of display....

But I've noticed that the electronically-inclined can readily find 
guidance on swapping out failed capacitors and other components on these 
boards. Tempted though I might be, my meager soldering skills would be 
unlikely to produce any desirable result even I were successful in 
figuring out which component(s) were bad.
