Excellent idea. The state DOL has a consortium for school and public libraries and has procured some excellent deals for libraries. It would be great to have such a consortium for technology. Thanks, Bjorn.

The chromebook thread got me thinking, what I need more than a hardware consortium is a cheap solution for insuring 1:1 devices.    We are looking at the Worthy group for next year which IMO is quite expensive, but I wonder if we could combine as a state we might be able to get a much larger discount especially since it would allow schools to choose their own hardware.
