You can get one-way sync by subscribing to Wes's calendar script in Google Calendar as you describe.

Log in at calendar.google.com, and add a calendar subscription ( Other Calendars -> Add by URL ) to Wes's script ( https://scripts.uvm.edu/cgi-bin/CT_Cal.pl?fn1=LASTNAME&gn1=FIRSTNAME&period=180days&r=90days&asical=1 )

Change LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME to your Oracle Calendar-identified name.  Note that your calendar entries in OCal have to be public for this to work.

below is a response I prepared for another use so bear with the context:

"I'll be honest it is a bit of a pain to set up and configure this, I'm glad to help but we're changing our calendar and email system late summer/early fall anyway which will probably require different software entirely. I'd suggest using the internet browser on your phone and just going to calendar.uvm.edu to monitor your calendar until we get the new product.

However, if you are determined to make the oracle calendar work with your Android's native calendar for the next 2 or 3 months then, for the android id recommend a product called "syncML" from synthesis and I'd recommend the standard version which you manually sync daily. The auto sync version is much more expensive and does not always work anyway.

Go to the "Play Store" on your Android, and locate Synthesis SyncML Client STD $19.50m below is a link that you can use to read about the software on your computer, but don't download it on your computer, use the play store on your phone.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.synthesis_std

Then the configuration is very similar to the iphone configuration seen here but not exactly:

If you want to go ahead with this contact me and I'll assist you with configuration, it will save you lots of time if we meet to do this.

cheers,
Roger"

Is it possible to display our Oracle calendar on an Android phone? If
yes, what are the overall steps? Add Oracle calendar to google calendar
account (using Wesley's script) and display that on the Android phone?
Or is something else easier?

Thanks.

Tim
