The HP 210/215 are an updated version of the HP 3115/3125 we have been using for 1:1. They have been reliable (given the realities of what a 15-year old does to a laptop when used and carried 24 x 7) and the advantage of the 11.6" form factor is portability: lightweight and can fit in a solid case in backpacks. We will be using the 210 this year (215 has slower ethernet, implications for imaging speed.)

I am looking for a 13-14" device in the $400 range.

It is easy to find 11.6" and 15" devices in that price range, but they are just too physically small and large.

Assuming no one has a magical answer for the above, anyone have any comment on these machines?

HP 215 G1, A4-1250
HP 215 G1, A6-1450

and their suitability for 1-1?

thx
