Bard is somewhat “geographically challenged” in terms of hotels. The closest hotels are all very small motels or boutique hotels in the nearby villages of Red Hook and Rhinebeck, NY. The closest “bigger” and cheaper hotels are near the Interstate (87/NY Thruway) in Kingston, NY (about a 15 min drive from Bard). WE RECOMMEND STAYING IN KINGSTON. There are also a number of hotels about 15-20 miles south of Bard in Hyde Park, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY. As September is a very popular time to visit the Hudson Valley, hotels will fill up early. PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. There is no designated “tournament hotel” but we have listed several hotel options below.
