The Office of
Benefits and Employee Operations is seeking an Administrative
Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the
Executive Director. This
is an 80% full time (five days a week) position and eligible
for the full time benefit package. Responsibilities of the job
include: managing complex calendar activity; providing
administrative support for committee work; screen and route
incoming phone calls; some budget work and general office
support. Working
knowledge of software applications used to support office
functions (ie Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint) as well as
familiarity with Internet resources/editing. Effective writing
and organizational skills and ability to multi-task required.
Ability to maintain
confidentiality and to deal effectively with wide range of
University personnel, students and the public required along
with a commitment to issues of diversity and social justice. Associate’s degree with two
years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
required. The
