The Office of Benefits and Employee Operations is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director.  This is an 80% full time (five days a week) position and eligible for the full time benefit package.  Responsibilities of the job include: managing complex calendar activity; providing administrative support for committee work; screen and route incoming phone calls; some budget work and general office support.  Working knowledge of software applications used to support office functions (ie Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint) as well as familiarity with Internet resources/editing. Effective writing and organizational skills and ability to multi-task required.  Ability to maintain confidentiality and to deal effectively with wide range of University personnel, students and the public required along with a commitment to issues of diversity and social justice.  Associate’s degree with two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination required.  The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the institution.
