Can anyone tell me if their town operates the transfer station without a trash compactor? Has anyone done an analysis of solid waste pull fees with and without a trash compactor? Curious to find out if the cost of renting/leasing or purchasing a new trash compactor would offset the pull fees enough to warrant the expense.
