Mona and I saw 3 Hoodies today at Shelburne Bay. At least 50 Bonapartes were scattered around, and flying and diving into the Bay. They were very active and many underwings were displayed. Nevertheless, I couldn't turn any of them into Little Gulls. One Greater Yellowlegs was busy and noisy on the mudflats.

This afternoon I counted 21 hoodies on the far (east) side of the pond and I would not be surprised if more of them appeared there during the next week or so. Also, 3 Eastern Bluebirds decorated the bushes and trees along the trail leading down to the shoreline.
