We do not allow photos or scans with personal equipment.  Once they make a copy, they can do whatever they like with it.

Subject: Question on new technology?

In this new age of electronic everything, everyone has a cell phone with photo capabilities.  Putney does not allow photos to be taken but requires the researchers to use the copy machine.

Please let us know how your offices deal with this especially with sensitive land records etc.

Thanks,

Barbara Taylor

Asst Clerk
