(Mostly a cross-post from the Google Apps K12 Technical Forum)

Our school issued almost 200 Chromebooks (Acer C720) to freshmen at the end
of August, and we sent them out with these "shell"-style cases (we went
with the clear color option) that the kids are required to leave on the
device at all times. We encourage them to decorate/sticker the cases to
their heart's content. The company's website looks pretty Web 1.0, but
they're legit -- they gave us a bulk discount and offered to engrave the
cases with our school name/logo for free (we didn't bother.)

The cases shipped individually wrapped in tough-ish plastic sleeves with
two snap closures (like the kind of material that they sell comforters in),
and we realized that those were roomy enough to hold the whole encased
Chromebook + charger + printed FAQ for each kid, so we reused them to
streamline deployment -- nice little lagniappe.

They have a demo video of a Samsung Chromebook in one of these cases, being
dropped on a hard floor repeatedly and the case pops off to absorb the
shock, while the device remains intact. We posted that on our 1:1 site. :)

I think they ended up running us about $16.50 apiece including shipping.

I'm trying to request an eval unit from this place: but I'm not sure if my
request has gone through or not.
