Bicknell's Thrush: Conserving a Bird of Two Worlds

Breeding on northern New England's mountaintops and wintering in Hispaniola, 
Bicknell's Thrush is a rare bird threatened by climate change, acid rain, and 
human encroachment on its habitat. For the past 20 years Chris Rimmer has 
spearheaded conservation work in both Vermont and the Caribbean to protect the 
habitat of this iconic bird of two worlds. Join us to learn more about VCE's 
efforts to conserve this embattled songbird and the challenges that we will 
confront in the future.
