I had excellent luck with the Cannon Powershot cams. Check Amazon for the
latest reviews. We filmed projects over 7 years with them and never had one
croak. Super reliable. I got protective cases for them and signed them out.
Look for SD cards on sale. I'd recommend class 6 cards or better. The last
cam I bought while at Burr and Burton was the A2300. Held up very well, 16
megapixel...
