John's answer doesn't surprise me. He likes little dogs; I like big dogs. He likes little waists; I like a little more booty to hold at night.

Do my fat skis make you feel inadequate? Do these skis make my ass look fa(s)t?

What do I ski on? Mountains. Hills. Meadows. Backyards. Frontcountry. Sidecountry. Backcountry. Every day. Every way. I ski on anything I can. And I will.

Off piste, as Denis hints, you don't have much need for a fancy tune, let alone a fancy ski. 120mm wide, 140cm long. 130mm wide, 150cm long. 100mm wide, 185cm long. 105mm wide, 182cm long. It's all good.

I'll take hardpack in a pinch, I guess. And if I do, I'll probably be on my Gotamas or maybe even some 85 Atomics or maybe Fischer Tsticks which come in at 95mm at the waist. None of which is fat by today's standards.

Denis, I'm not sure there is hope for this guy. Apples and oranges. Israelis and Palestinians. Racers and BC skiers...
