**Please forgive the cross-postings**

Colleagues,

The Center for Cultural Pluralism (CCP) would like to welcome you all back to campus! CCP has an amazing lineup for this semester with our new Social Justice Film Series (SJFS) and three upcoming exhibits in the Allen House Multicultural Art Gallery.

The theme of the Spring 2015 SJFS is Internationalizing Social Justice, which features films related to social justice and diversity issues through a transnational lens. The films screened include Sworn Virgins (1/27), The Iran Job (2/17), The Economics of Happiness (3/10) and A Darker Side of Fair (4/7).  Each film is screened on a Tuesday night between 7:30pm-9:00pm in Living/Learning Commons Room 216. For more information or to request accommodations for these film screenings, please call (802) 656-8833 or email [log in to unmask].

The Allen House Multicultural Art Gallery is a rotating art exhibit space sponsored by the Center for Cultural Pluralism. The gallery is an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work related to culture and social justice. For Spring 2015, the Allen House Multicultural Art Gallery will be exhibiting work from community artist Natasha Sky (2/3-2/28), UVM staff member Sydnee Viray (3/3-3/31) and a mixed art exhibit called the Vermont Queer Archives, presented by the Pride Center of Vermont (4/1-4/30). The Allen House Multicultural Art Gallery is located on the first floor of Allen House at 461 Main St. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm. For more information, please call (802) 656-8833 or email [log in to unmask].

Please see attached posters for dates and additional information regarding the art exhibits and SJFS.  Enjoy the beginning of the semester!

Best,

Roman
