Subject: Town Warnings

The following was noted in the VLCT report for Town Meeting. How do other towns include voter registration and absentee voting on the Warning?

Contents of Warning. The warning must include the date, time, and location of the meeting
as well as information about voter registration, absentee voting, and voting problems or
violations. The specific items of business to be acted upon, such as election of officers,
determination of the budget, and public questions, must be itemized and numbered
individually. 17 V.S.A. 2521(a), 2642(a).
