I put the buyers on the original deed as the Grantors.  If people are searching that property, it will come up.  I also include the original deed reference.

Taking a stab, here - I would list the attorney as the grantor, and add the borrowers, and put the bank as grantee, and then I would include a reference to the original mortgage (my land records software lets me include a reference to other documents).

I have an affidavit to record from an attorney who notarized a document in September without indicating the county in which the mortgage was acknowledged.  The purpose of the affidavit is to reflect that the original mortgage that she notarized was acknowledged in Washington County.

Anyone have any idea how to index this in my land records?
