I was able to see the Yellow-Crowned Night Heron at Bomoseen State Park on the evening of 8/31, at 9:15 PM.  It was feeding in the marsh behind the dumpsters, at the first opening as you head up the trail from the dumpsters toward the lake.  At that time of night, a flashlight was necessary.

I also heard that the bird was seen on the lawn near the entrance/guard house just past midnight in the early morning hours of 8/31.
