Retirees are not employees. They are not entitled to any volume licensed software at all. Not O365 pro plus, not home use program. They can get a consumer license for O365 for $99 per year, or use Google docs for free.

Subject: Office 365 for Retirees

Hi All,

Does the Office 365 Pro Plus software currently available to UVM faculty and staff extend to retired UVM faculty and staff? We have some upcoming retirees, and I'm wondering if I should steer them in this direction, or if I should recommend that they purchase Office using the Home Use Program.
