After a few years of birding including highlights like Garganey, Tundra
Swan, and Harris's Sparrow, one might think that the sight of a lone Coot
viewed at long range through a shaky scope in a cold wind might prove
unexciting. This was a special Coot though, as it was long awaited life
bird for me. All this to say there was a Coot at Berlin Pond this evening.
