Hello Vermont Birders:

This time of year typically is the peak for vagrants showing up on the east
coast, or at least it is the peak of birders focusing on finding them.

There has been a conspicuous spike in the number of Cave Swallows and
Franklin's Gulls on the eastern seaboard lately. Just a couple of species
to keep in mind when you are in the field tis weekend.
