Hi all –
Just a quick note to remind you that the application deadline for the Isocamp and SPATIAL isotope short courses is rapidly approaching (Feb. 5).
Each course offers an interdisciplinary emersion experience w/ ~25 student participants (grad students through faculty) and ~15 instructors from around the globe. Morning lectures introduce concepts and case studies, afternoons are hands-on
labs working with current generation IRMS and IRIS equipment (Isocamp) or database, GIS, and programming software (SPATIAL). Lots of informal networking opportunities, including some time for you and your new colleagues to explore the outdoors in the glorious
Wasatch Mountains, right next door to the UU campus.
Information on the two courses:

Some support is available to offset course fees and will be awarded based on consideration of need and merit.
Hope to see you in Utah this summer!
