We used the Smoothwall appliance for a few years, and it seemed very problematic with integration into our directory services, weather that be AD or when we were Novell. When Smoothwall was replaced with our Sophos UTM we noticed a huge drop in virus infections. So far the Sophos UTM has been good for us.
