Information helps you to see that you're not alone. That there's somebody in Mississippi and somebody in Tokyo who all have wept, who've all longed and lost, who've all been happy. So the library helps you to see, not only that you are not alone, but that you're not really any different from everyone else.<http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/m/mayaangelo634494.html>

Hello Colleagues,

The Honors and Awards Committee of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter Medical Library Association (MAC/MLA) requests your assistance. We would like to honor our colleagues who passed away this past year and recognize the value of their library service in an In Memoriam announcement in MAC Messages<https://macmla.wordpress.com/>.
We will also honor all deceased MAC/MLA members at the Joint MLA Conference September 25-28, 2016 in Philadelphia, PA.

Please send the MAC member's name, a photograph if available, the date they passed away, and a short biography to the committee chair, Tony Nguyen, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
