The NY Times published this study, in a list of scientific studies that
had been withdrawn. Anyone here aware of any followups or other studies
that were not withdrawn that came to a similar conclusion, that some
pesticides might be endocrine disruptors? Thanx.

Pesticides and Estrogen
A 1996 report in Science said mixtures of some pesticides might be
endocrine disruptors and lead to a rise in estrogen hormones, causing
cancer and birth defects in humans and animals. In 1997,
the paper was withdrawn after its senior author, John A. McLachlan,
admitted the results could not be reproduced. The paper's publication
affected federal legislation and set off a frantic round of
research.
