Subject: Grass Fed Beef Summits 4/9 & 4/10


Good afternoon,

With the assistance of the SUNY Workforce Development grant program, we will be holding two Grass Fed Beef Summits the weekend of 4/9 & 4/10. The 4/9 Summit will be held at Herkimer College and the 4/10 Summit will be held at SUNY Adirondack. The content each day will be same and the program will run from 9am - 5pm. Dr. Allen Williams, specialist in raising and finishing grass fed beef, will present industry best practices along with data from a study the Adirondack Grazers Cooperative have been working on to determine metrics for ideal production. 


We invite you and your students to participate in these sessions. In attendance will be grass fed beef farmers from across NY and VT along with agriculture educators and students. See the attached program for additional topics and registration information. Please don't hesitate to be in touch with questions.
