We have a pair of Carolina's nesting on our side porch. They spent the cold winter nights up in the rafters and have stayed on. This past Saturday. 2 babies fledged. Parents are continuing to feed them; they are still in the area. However, there are still at least 2 remaining in the next that are being fed. Is unsynchronized fledging unusual?? In the past, robins and house wrens have used the same porch, and the kids all left on the same day. It seem unusual to have a span of at least 4 days. They are a joy to watch.
