We do add the ABI/93922 as you mentioned. For fem-fems we bill 93979, with the thinking that it is an iliac artery bypass.

A fem to fem is a lower extremity arterial study.
You can bill for the inflow as a 93979 (unilateral/ limited) and then the fem-fem which would be either a 93926 if you only studied the graft and it's outflow or a 93925 if you did a complete bilateral study. And of course ankle waveforms/pressures can also be tacked on (93922).
If your facility buys the coding advisor from SVU you will be able to maximize your reimbursement which is particularly troublesome when billing for multiple procedures on the same visit. A link is found here: http://www.svunet.org/practicemanagementmain/advisoryservices/codingsoftware

I usually only bill for the 93978 with fear of them paying the lesser of the two, I know this had been discussed, can someone get back to me with 4 hours? The staff messed up today with 2 patients Thanks Denise
