Nice day to be visiting as I had 3 Black-backed woodpeckers, 3 Gray
Jays, 1
Boreal Chickadee, 1 Yellow-bellied Flycatcher and found a very young
juvenile Spruce Grouse followed by an adult female followed by an
adult male
who was displaying the entire time. First time I'd seem this and the
juvenile was so young I wondered if this was a second brood?? Don't
believe
there were any other juveniles with these three. The male was actually
hanging out with the juvenile while the female leaped several inches
up to
snag wild blueberries from branches.
