Telenaut will love GT better than JH, not just for the powder, but for the lack of crowds and the terrain isn't as gnarly off-piste. You'll get more flow and better turns at GT. I loved it. Also a better probability for soft snow if JH is a bit firm.
Don’t get your hopes up for the majestic antler arch, massive for sure, but an example of creative photography at its worst.
And for your financial advice re: best options for passes and airfare: Spend it all you can’t take it with you.
Flying into Jackson if not a direct flight, will likely involve small regional commuter planes, so beware of what you intend to have as carryon. As well, small regional commuters in mountain environs are prone to wild rides.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I had to look up munificence to see what it meant. Anyway, just beware of flying into Jackson - delays and cancellations are common and my last time there, I drove up from SLC to prevent having the airlines destroy my trip.
The Cowboy Bar is a tacky tourist trap....... and it's fun / funny. The Virginian I recall is patronized by real cowboys. The Cowboy Bar Is for tourists and the tourist motel is for cowboys.
A bus trip to 'da Ghee' (Grand Targhee) is worthwhile for a day. Cheyenne Woods on skiers right of Cheyenne Bowl is best bet for trees and ditto for off map Radiation Woods which is on skiers right of some lift that is on climbers right of ski area though not the furthest climbers right. Alta Chutes and T3 Chute are fines super steep runs that I think you'll like. I don't think your missing much by avoiding Corbett Couloir with the waiting in line, mob scene and risk of computer d fracture on the landing.

Subject:[SKIVT-L] JH: List wisdom?
The list’s munificence has granted me an out-of-the-blue, amazing deal on a week this March in Jackson Hole. Thank you, list Eric.
Later, I will seek the list’s wisdom on matters more related to JH itself. For now, my questions are financial. Best options for passes and airfare?
TIA, list.
