Follow-up question:

Do you really need a Windows server or just use local users (non-domain) on Windows 8.1 and some sort of drive-drive re-imaging?  (Will FOG work?)

Good Morning.

Trying to get ahead of the request by Admin to provide support to Windows laptops...

I work in an Apple/Chrome environment (no Windows devices or servers).  We may be needing to purchase Windows laptops for a curricular need next year.  I am asking what you folks are using on a cost sensitive approach to both manage (Windows server - software/licensing and minimum hardware) and to re-image Windows clients.  An assumption is that we would be looking at Windows 8.1 OS on the laptops.

Any direction would be helpful.
