Something interesting this morning from Burlington NWS...

AN ACTIVE PERIOD OF WEATHER IS EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY
NIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE INTO THE
REGION. COLDER AIR WILL ALSO BE MOVING INTO THE REGION...FIRST
AFFECTING THE MOUNTAINS LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY AND THEN AT
THE LOWER ELEVATIONS SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. A NORTHWEST
FLOW PATTERN MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT WILL BECOME ESTABLISHED OVER THE
AREA AND THIS COULD LEAD TO HEAVY SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS DURING THIS
TIME PERIOD.
