Yes, I hope I can watch it for free somewhere.

I thought the coverage was great.

we watched most of 1st run via NBC Sports app for Roku, no verification required (I get NBC and local channels via internet/local ISP Roku app). Missed first 8 or 10 racers because I did a bad job of checking schedules. Even worse time management delivered us  the last 4 racers in 2nd run via the same technology .

watched the entire NBC network coverage, then switched to CBC (considered  a local channel) for some goofy snowboard action, followed by CBC Canadian edit of 1st run highlights and topddozen or so 2nd runners.

So I missed some parts, and watched others 3 times.

Slalom 2nd run should be a nail-biter.

We watched the first run at http://liveextra.nbcsports.com/, which did not require a login from a cable/satellite provider (which I don't have either). There was no commentary, but we saw every skier. That was only good for the first run, tough. I expect tomorrow will be the same.

We watched the tape-delayed second run on NBC, which was the expected disappointment. They showed maybe half of the 30 racers. It was cool, though, when they showed the mobs of VARA kids walking into the area, and featured the Middlebury Ski Club marching in behind their banner. :-)

Any fun reports from those who were there?

Wow - Italy took 5 of the top 10 spots.

Tomorrow is the Slalom and fis-ski.com has pretty much live (text) results during the race.

Supposedly you can watch live at http://livestream.nbcsports.com/ but it wants a login from your household cable tv provider which I donít have.
