I usually search for products on sites like Newegg, and the name brand sites like Dell, HP, Epson, etc.  Then I price shop to include Amazon, CDW, and others.  I agree with Robert that Angelo at GovConnection is great to work with, and Apple Ed for Mac products.

I'd also concur from my past purchasing experiences that SHI, Insight and CDW can be painful.  They often claim great prices, then give you something completely non-competitive.  They love to negotiate the price down, but I hate wasting my time with the back and forth knowing I can beat them with Amazon or Newegg!

Well, there's The Top Floor and VT Panurgy locally. I buy from monoprice.com and newegg(business).com for lots of little things. Also bhphotovideo.com. I've bought recertified equipment from Epson, HP, and Acer company stores.

I don't do anything with Microsoft; that may affect your choices.

I am just wondering who everyone likes to use for vendors when purchasing equipment.  Anyone have any experience with CDI or Connection? My go to has been SHI, CDW-G, Amazon and Apple.

Thanks
